My husband has been a Man United fan for a while but these shows actually got me into it to the point where I can excitedly watch a match with him... rather than sit next to him while he watched and I crocheted or something which was what I did before lol
Now I can happily watch a match, regardless of who is playing and find joy in it - though I, too, am flummoxed by the god forsaken Off Sides rule.
You should see if there’s an American MLS team around you. We’ve gone to see the Philadelphia Union a couple times (once when they played Wrexham in a friendly!) and they’re a lot of fun. Plus live sporting events usually include nachos which is always a plus.
